Mervyn: “I use my creativity to support kids with Autism.”

Mervyn Emmanuel, the 24 years old graphic designing student provides life-changing support for families living with autism through his creativity. He paints and sells canvas shoes to bring a  difference to the lives of autistic people and their close ones.

It all started in 2015 when he met a little kid living with autism, the little one was scared of him and could not speak well. It made him feel so down looking at the little soul and he realized how blessed he was so he thought of doing something for autistic people. He makes sure that more autistic people are understood and supported through his little moves.

Mervyn:“I accept orders and sell my painted canvas shoes for a very reasonable price. I receive plenty of orders every day from people around the world through social media. After meeting the little boy with autism, I have made the decision to donate 90% of all profits to non-profit organizations which show support to kids with special needs!”

“I use my creativity to support kids with Autism. It’s like I paint shoes to color their lives. It feels good to know someone out there is living with a smile today because of my artworks. Oh, I call it HEART-works!” he added.

Little acts of kindness really do make a huge difference. We all have some special talents, create awareness with that. “I discovered the meaning of living, I could give compassion and love. The more I gave, the more I received,” said Mervyn.

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how people view the world and communicates with people around them. There are about 700,000 autistic people in the UK alone. Each patient of autism is different. “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism,” Dr. Stephen Shore.
